Humanity learnt from a very early stage in its evolutional development that simply trying to exist without each other was difficult. It did not help prolong the individual's life expectancy and certainly not the species.

Our ability to work together has been central to the human story. Religions have usually been belief systems that have developed this unity.
Sadly, the innate desire for individuality has in many cases led to divisions leading to violence and war. The emergence of capitalism emanating from the Christian religion helped create the Protestant work ethic which focused on the individual and not the community.

Now in the 21st Century, the divisions between communities that have little and individuals who have everything and more are growing.
Although wealth is not bad, when it is focused on just a few there are grave dangers for humanity.

The saying "money talks" started with Euripides in the fifth century B.C.E., who came up with the idea. Erasmus mentioned "the talking power of money" in 1532, but the way we use the saying today only began around 1900. It means that having money gives people a lot of influence and power over others' actions and decisions.
Currently, the United Kingdom has been troubled by riots in major cities over the issue of immigration. Those carrying out these criminal acts are united in a cause they feel is just, yet they have been misled and misinformed.

Such individuals have been largely manipulated by persons who either have immense fortunes or use their influence to gain financial benefits from incitement.
