When we look at human history and religious scriptures like the Bible, the concept of creation almost always requires a central creator or an originator. Growing up, I struggled with traditional theological views; I could never quite accept the existence of a traditional deity, yet I could accept the idea of a fundamental underlying reality. If we reframe this concept through the lens of modern technology, the idea of a creator suddenly feels far less far-fetched. 

What if our creator is not a mystical deity, but a software designer from another species entirely? If we take this hypothesis a step further, an incredible paradox emerges. If an advanced civilisation created our simulation, who created theirs? We find ourselves facing an infinite regress of simulated realities. Furthermore, if we possess the technology to build our own virtual worlds, then the entities within our creations might eventually develop the tools to do the exact same thing. 

This loop of creation completely changes how we think about the divine. The architect of a universe is not necessarily an all-knowing, spiritual force, but could simply be an engineer sitting at a console. It strips away the traditional religious dogma and replaces it with a fascinating, mechanical possibility. We are left wondering exactly where we sit on this infinite ladder of creators and creations.
